Mentoring & Helping Children to Excel in their Lives

The Metro Atlanta Youth Football League believes that academics and learning are our program's cornerstones. Physical education, safety, nutrition, and lessons on applying the discipline and challenge of football to the classroom and beyond are incorporated into every aspect of our program. Our Coaches are more than just instructors on the field; they serve as mentors and role models to help children excel in all areas of their lives. They are good sportsmanship, intense academic pursuit, and strong character and integrity. Children, who may not otherwise have guidance, are provided structure and heaven to grow.

Our academic program recognizes current participants at our Scholastic Awards banquet in February each year. Selected graduating seniors who have completed all requirements of the MAYFL Scholarship Program are rewarded scholarships during our June meeting.
